Cheryl Mason is one of many licensed characters in Dead By Daylight. Here are the best builds for her.
Being an asymmetrical horror game, Dead By Daylight has quite a lot of licenses from different horror series. Some of these arrive in the game as specific playable characters, while others are released as Legendary cosmetics for existing original characters. Silent Hill is one of the most famous licenses in the game.

The license was released in the game as the fourth year anniversary chapter, bringing Pyramid Head and Cheryl Mason to the game. Lisa Garland and Cybil Bennett were also released along with the chapter, bringing in a lot of Silent Hill fans to try out the game.
Cheryl is a caring, empathetic, and impulsive individual who went by the name Heather before. She lost her father and also got involved with some cult activities. When she tried to turn her life around, her past came knocking at her door, dragging her into the fog of Dead By Daylight.
She brings three special perks to the game that can be unlocked on every character after upgrading her to prestige three. These perks are Soul Guard, Blood Pact, and Repressed Alliance.
Soul guard is one among many perks that grants survivors an Endurance status effect. Whenever you or your teammate pick you from the dying state, this perk grants you Endurance for eight seconds.
Further, if you have a Hex symbol on your screen, you can pick yourself up infinitely.
If you get hit when you're injured and have the Endurance status effect, you are put into a Deep Wound state instead of the Dying state.
This allows you to not go down, but you'll have to mend before the yellow bar before your name runs out.
You need to have the red Hex icon on your screen for the secondary part of this perk to work. If the killer has a Hex perk, but you don't have it on your screen yet, that part won't work. That said, here are a few synergies with Soul Guard.
You are empathetic towards your teammate, specifically the obsession when you have this perk. Whenever you or the obsession are injured, both of you can see each other's aura. Further, upon healing or being healed by the obsession, both get seven percent Haste effect as long as you stay within a 16-meter range of each other.
This perk does not work if you're the obsession, making it a bad idea to use perks like Decisive Strike or For The People. Some perks that can be used with it are:
Whenever you see generators blocked by the entity's tentacles, you're sure to assume that it's one of the many killer perks. Luckily, survivors also have a perk that allows you to block a generator for 30 seconds after you have repaired generators for 45 seconds.
This generator block can only be triggered if you're the only one working on it. This leads to a lot of possible perk synergies with this perk:
There are a lot of perks in Dead By Daylight that suit Cheryl's lore and personality, and here's the best build you can use to truly feel like you're in her shoes.
