TAFE Motors and Tractors Limited (TMTL), a wholly owned subsidiary of tractor major TAFE, has launched its 5/7.5 kVA Diesel Generators (DG) to consolidate its position in the lower horse power (hp) range.

TMTL claims that it will be the first company in India to exclusively offer engines with 1,500 rpm to power 5/7.5 kVA DG sets.

The existing DG sets market for this range consists of products which are either automobile application engine powered at 3,000 rpm or agriculture engines which are adjusted to suit 5/7.5kVA DG requirements.

The TMTL 5/7.5 kVA DG sets are powered by Eicher Engines which have a proven track record of long life and low cost of ownership.

They will be best suited for residential areas, small shop owners, commercial and banking sectors apart from other segments owing to its compact size and relative ease of use, said S Chandramohan, Director of TAFE Motors and Tractors Limited (TMTL).

He added, the company has experienced steady growth as it has been able to provide economical power solutions backed by after-sales service to the customers.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Tractors and Farm Equipments (TAFE), TMTL envisages high potential in the 5/7.5kVA range. Currently, the company caters to a wide range of institutional and retail customer base of more than 7, 00,000 spread across the country.

The demand for quality power solutions is bound to grow against a backdrop of positive economic outlook and the growth in housing and industrial sectors in cities as well as small towns.

The company has a network of 70 sales dealers and 72 service dealers across country that ensures round the clock services for complete customer satisfaction backed up by 24x7 TMTL care number (1860-425-8685) ensuring great service and fast response.
